Wendy Brook

Wendy is a Mental Health First Aid Instructor and has delivered to a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, construction, finance, as well as schools and universities. Wendy has been involved in Mental Health work for many years. She is also a qualified Independent Mental Health Advocate. She developed and ran a charity in Shropshire specialising in Mental Health Advocacy. In that role she worked with adults, adolescents, and children. She has gained an in-depth knowledge of the Mental Health System.

Wendy has been a company director in the private sector for much of her career and is very aware of mental health issues in the workplace. She has written and delivered training for over 10 years for organisations across all sectors.

Wendy is a founding director of Merulae which provides bespoke training, counselling, psychotherapy and clinical governance for all Sectors She works with and/or liaises closely with company directors and staff, particularly HR in relation to developing health and wellbeing strategies and training staff listeners. She does Mental Health Assessments on a regular basis, and is a consultant who is much in demand. She brings a passion for all things related to Mental Health, and feedback from previous courses applauds her depth of knowledge, easy approachable style, and willingness to respond to the needs of her audience.

Wendy is a practicing Counsellor working with people who have lived experience, in particular trauma and Merulae provides counselling in three high profile independent schools in Shropshire to pupils, staff and parents.
