Talent in Logistics Appoints New Team

Demonstrating its success and determination to be the must-visit event and go-to voice for advice on attracting, developing and engaging blue collar workers in the logistics sector, Talent in Logistics has made two new key appointments.

As part of the new approach, Ruth Edwards has been appointed as business manager and Jordan Dalziel as marketing and events assistant. They join Talent in Logistics with the aim of ensuring its annual event is a hit for HR, L&D and Operational professionals within the sector, whilst working collaboratively with organisations to support those looking to enter or progress across the industry.

With experience in roles such as marketing, events and operations, Ruth joins saying: “Having worked in industry and leading large teams where employee development and engagement was key to success, I am delighted to be taking on such an exciting role to reward and recognise those who are currently under-represented.”

Joining from a PR and marketing agency, Jordan says: “With experience in this field, it is my current objective to deliver strong PR and marketing activities across online and offline channels and develop new ideas and strategies to grow the business.”

Ruth continues: “As a team our biggest goal is to share knowledge and celebrate those who keep the cogs of the industry running daily. With 2019 being the third year of operation, we are keen to take a new approach, with a range of new additions and updates to our marketing activities, research and annual event.”

Talent in Logistics is committed to supporting and encouraging organisations to address skills, training and career progression to retain exceptional staff and attract new employees.
