National Register of LGV Instructors
The National Register of LGV Instructors was established and launched in January 2017 as a replacement for the DVSA’s voluntary LGV instructor register and the RTITB register of professional instructors, both of which closed at the end of 2016.
The vision for this DVSA endorsed not-for-profit register is to further professionalise the HGV/LGV training industry by offering a single register that meets the needs of the whole industry. As of April 2019, the register also trains LGV Assessors to the NRI standard.
NOVUS, part of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT UK), works with seven leading Universities to provide students studying business, logistics and supply chain degrees with guest lectures, mentoring, placements for the summer and a guaranteed third year year-long industrial placement. We do this through our 26 sponsors, who, in return, get the cream of the graduate crop, guaranteed “work ready”.
