We’re pleased to confirm that Pertemps Driver Training Ltd is sponsoring the LGV Driver Training Provider of the Year Award at the Talent in Logistics Awards 2018.
Pertemps Driver Training was founded in 2009 as a solution to the increased demand throughout the UK for skilled, trained and compliant Drivers. A clear but simple business strategy was built; enhance commercial Driver skills, improve Driver behaviour and reinvest profits into the next generation of Drivers.
The LGV Driver Training Provider of the Year Award will recognise a commercial training provider who works tirelessly to improve the image of the industry, consistently delivers good quality training evidenced through an excellent pass rate and has achieved high post training employment amongst trainees.
The winner will be announced at the Talent in Logistics Awards evening on 21st June 2018 at the Telford International Centre.
“We are delighted to be supporting the Talent in Logistics Awards for the second year running,” says Samantha Earl, General Manager for Pertemps Driver Training. “Pertemps are involved within many different aspects of the logistics industry, whether it be supplying drivers or supporting training requirements. Therefore we believe it’s important to recognise and celebrate the achievements of both businesses and individuals who are promoting positive changes and the sustainability for future growth within the industry.”
Pertemps Driver Training is part of the Pertemps Network Group. Pertemps Driving Division works closely with some of the most recognised logistics, transport and haulage operators in the UK. It employs over 7500 commercial Drivers which puts Pertemps in a unique position to firstly understand the market and secondly to offer bespoke training to meet business challenges.
Pertemps Driver behaviour specialists are key to the company in offering road safety solutions to reduce risk and improve fleet quality and compliance within the business partnerships that are built. The company recognises a “one size” fits all approach is not an effective strategy and therefore focuses on the choices a Driver makes behind the wheel that will affect their risk levels. Embedding within a business aids in understanding the customers’ requirements, allowing Pertemps to tailor support and training programmes to ensure they have a greater impact on improving road safety.
Rapid growth has seen Pertemps Driver Trainings portfolio of courses expand and continual development of bespoke solutions created. Should its range of products not meet a business’ needs, its development team are always on hand to support in creating the required solution.
