About Anthony Woodburn

Anthony Woodburn is Editor of Freight Industry Times, the leading independent voice of the freight and logistics supply chain sector.

Anthony has worked in print journalism for more than 25 years, cutting his teeth as a reporter on the Cambridge Evening News. Now an experienced B2B journalist, he has covered many industry sectors during his professional career, from construction and mining to finance and the knowledge economy.

Anthony is looking forward to being a judge in the Talent in Logistics Awards because he fully recognises the importance of acknowledging talent at all levels in the freight and logistics sector. One of his first initiatives as Editor of Freight Industry Times was to launch the publication’s FIT FOR THE FUTURE campaign, which addresses the skills shortages in the industry, tackling key issues such as how to attract more young people into the sector; improving the industry’s image and perception; increasing skills and training provision and embracing gender and cultural diversity.
