Where and when is the conference?

The Talent in Logistics Conference takes place at Access House, Halesfield 17, Telford, TF7 4PW. Click here for a Google Map.

Registration is from 9.00am and the Information Zone will be open so you can network with other visitors and chat to our expert exhibitors.  The International Forklift Operator of the Year and Lift Truck Instructor of the Year competitions start shortly after the doors open. Conference sessions start at 10.15.

Doors close at 3.30pm so if you’re attending the Talent in Logistics Awards that evening you have plenty of time to get ready.

Can I reach the event by public transport?

The nearest railway station is Telford Central which is a 10-minute taxi ride to the Conference venue and a 5-minute taxi ride to the Telford International Centre if you’re only attending the Awards that evening.

Is there parking?

There is free parking for event attendees at the Telford International Centre, St Quentin Gate, Telford TF3 4JH. Click here to see directions to the car park. This will be clearly signposted on the day as well. A shuttle bus will take you from the car park to the venue – this only takes a couple of minutes.

There is also free parking directly outside the Telford International Centre for those attending the Talent in Logistics Awards in the evening.

What happens at lunch time?

A catering area at the event provides a range of options that you can buy for lunch including sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads. Lunch will be available at the cash-only restaurant from 11.30am until 2pm. Free drinks will be available all day.

Which hotels are closest?

There are several hotels which serve the Telford International Centre and are ideal places to stay if you’re attending the Talent in Logistics Conference and Awards. We recommend:

How do I book conference sessions?

Conference seminar sessions and presentations are allocated on a first come, first served basis and it’s not possible to book them in advance. Make sure you arrive in plenty of time to attend the sessions you’re interested in.

This is just a short drive or taxi ride from the Conference venue. From the local hotels it is a short walk or taxi ride.

What will be happening on the night?

The winners of the 15 Talent in Logistics Awards winners will be announced on the evening of 22nd June, recognising excellence in the warehousing, transport and logistics sector.  It’s a great chance to celebrate with your team, entertain your valued customers and network with other guests.

If you’ve not bought your ticket yet, make sure you book now to snap up one of the few remaining tickets or tables.

From 6pm there will be a drinks reception at the Telford International Centre.

From 7.15pm to 10.30pm there will be a deluxe three-course meal and the Awards presentations by comedian Tim Vine.  A table plan will be displayed on the night so you can easily find where you and your team are sitting.

From 10.30pm there will be a live band, with doors closing at 1.00am.

What if I have dietary requirements?

If you told us about your dietary needs when you booked your Conference place or Awards tickets, then we’ll have already made special arrangements for you.  However, if you have any special dietary requirements that you’ve not yet told us about, such as allergies or if you’re a vegetarian, please make sure you let us know at least 48 hours before the event so that we can make sure that you’re catered for.
